Ingredients
For the Paneer Butter Masala:
- Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – 250g (cubed)
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Onion – 1 large (finely chopped)
- Tomatoes – 3 large (pureed)
- Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- AV Paneer Butter Masala – 2 tbsp
- AV Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp (optional for extra spice)
- AV Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
- Fresh Cream – 2 tbsp
- Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) – 1 tsp (crushed)
- Salt – To taste
- Water – 1 cup (adjust consistency)
- Fresh Coriander Leaves – For garnish
Instructions
For Paneer Butter Masala:
- Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, cook for 1 minute, then add tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
- Add AV Paneer Butter Masala, AV Red Chilli Powder, AV Turmeric Powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add 1 cup water, mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add paneer cubes and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add cream and crushed kasuri methi, simmer for 2 minutes, and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve hot with naan, paratha, or jeera rice.
- Top with a dollop of butter for restaurant-style richness.
